Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman has been an accomplished professor of psychology since 1993, and the director for the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. She is widely acknowledged for launching the modern science of child eyewitness memories as well as using children who have been abused to be legal witnesses. Professor Goodman is a prolific author who has received many prizes and grants. She has offered policy and research consultations to numerous agencies and government departments across the world. She serves as consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) of the Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She's a member of a variety of professional organizations, including Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. She is the founder of the American Professional Society for the Abuse of Children, the Psychonomics Society Society for Research into Child Development as well as the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was the president of the The American Psychological Association's Developmental Division division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Family and Child Policies and Practice.
